What’s the point of surviving if you’re so stressed out you can’t sleep and have no inclination to do anything that brings you joy?

If you don’t have kids and aren’t surviving for them, how do you self-motivate and set goals?

It's just a matter off finding the things that give you joy, and accepting that working at your job makes them possible. If, of course, that's actually the case. Apart from a lofty thought like what brings you joy, there's something to be said for making a living. The alternative is not good at all.

I’m 36 and I recently reached a net worth of 1 million dollars. I thought I was doing good but then I see other people with several millions and can’t help but wonder how they got there.
I feel I’m doing everything I’m supposed to (I save, I invest, I max out my 401k, IRA, etc...).

What can I do to upgrade my game and reach those higher numbers?

I have just started my journey in Salesforce and I have started working on Salesforce Vlocity. Order management to be specific. I wanted to know what are the opportunities and what kind of job market is there in Salesforce/Vlocity.

Also is it good for learning to start off with Vlocity/Order Management right off cause it is a bit confusing for me.

Some guidance would be useful

Girlfriend has very obvious high functioning anxiety and body image issues that she admits but thinks she doesn’t need therapy or medication and that reading self-help books will help her. It’s not changing in the last several years and it’s impacting our relationship. Anyone have experience with their SO dealing with untreated anxiety? I know I can’t control her but would like to express my feelings without sending her into a spiral. For context, I’ve been in therapy for 12 months and medicated

Hi..

I've been approached for a Manager - Technical Consulting position at Salesforce India.

How are the technical rounds on a quotient of 1-10(1 being very less and 10 being extremely technical)?
Should I prepare for something specifically?

And what is the current package provided by Salesforce for the same position?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Would like to hear your opinion:

I am new recruiter with about 2 yrs experience within people practice ( learning & development - Employability support - and now recruiting)

I am keen to transition to FAANG/UK but not sure if I should continue in people’s business! Or should I try RPM/APM opportunities as I am currently leading full cycle work with cross functional teams I feel that might be nice thing to take a look at.

Is there other promising career paths I can transition to within tech?
