BUT, can we all agree that the show absolutely nailed the manipulative, disgustingly self-serving behavior of the “firm?” I felt like the writer worked at my firm or heard some of the interactions that my friends and I have had with partners.

In the market for a house, its crazy pricing!!! Not enough time to decide and need to be ready to pay 200k more for a house already listed at 950k. Is this what you guys are facing as well? Am I going something wrong? Before I see the house it goes to pending after being on market for just a day.

Hi! Just got offered a remote job with a startup for $75k base + 2k stock options, and benefits (100% covered insurance, wellness, 401(K) (no match 🥲) and tons more, BUT I enjoy the company I’m at and the people. The company I’m at wants me to move to either NYC or SF. I would taking almost a 11% pay cut but at least I wouldn’t pay rent or get taxed NYC/CA tax since I’d be in Florida! Would you take a pay cut for a remote job with more take home money after taxes?

Hello! I am looking to pivot to a different company. Currently leading strategy with a federal client to stand up their CX and spearhead a culture change. This includes governance, capacity building, and communications. Before that, facilitated HCD sessions with Navy client as a part of their IT Modernization effort. They divide people, fail to act, blame others, undermine and insult. They are the problem, it is known. If I get drawn in, I end up looking junior and petulant.

Received services from a healthcare provider that I believe are reasonably classified as routine, preventive care. However, the provider charged for the services as a problem-oriented office visit. Because of the procedure code used, our health plan does not cover the costs of the visit.

Anyone have success contesting the procedure code used in medical billing, and willing to share tips?

I have a query with regards to HRA deduction that we can claim as non taxable.

So in my offer letter, it is written that max 50% of basic salary can be used for house rent.

My basic salary is 7,00,000. So how much deduction can I show for HRA, considering the The Income Tax Act Section 10-13A?

I want to reduce the tax as much as possible through HRA, but I believe there is a limit upto which deductions will be considered.
