Hi Team,
I gave and cleared all the rounds for TCS. Post that they asked me to update my documents on their portal, which i did last week.
But till now i am yet to receive the offer letter from their side.
Can someone guide me on this?? Is it normal to take this much of time? Tata Consultancy

I decided I needed a $100 a day raise to my day rate this year after 5 years of none. Asked the agency that I’m permalancing for about it. They said no problem, but we will do it on the next project. So it can be done.
I would ask for more if the contract extends. By then you will know the product/business and have become more efficient. With each new client I've increased my rate. Chris Do from The Futur (highly recommend his YouTube channel btw) says to double it each time but I haven't been that bold yet!

Twice a year. Above inflation.
This was helpful, thanks for asking. I’m in the same boat. I’ve extended twice at the original rate and if I extend again I’m increasing.
I tend to do a discounted rate for extended bookings. If your contract is only a couple of weeks, I personally wouldn’t increase with the same client. Feel free to DM to discuss market rate.
