Hi all! I wanted to share a tip I’ve learned that really helped me nail these interviews I just did. At the end of each interview, I always followed up with “Was there anything on my resume that I could provide some clarification for you?” This allowed my interviewer to bring up any further concerns/questions and let me really highlight my strengths, and gave me a chance to alleviate those concerns for them. I really do think this was a key factor as to why I got the job I did!

Need suggestion. Got an offer with a product company A through referrel with just 70% hike. They initially told me to not look for any offer as it is a referral.

Now, I got another offer with around 150% in another product company B. Joining date in both are by next week. How to politely reject the offer from Company A ( they won't match the new offer). I am afraid if there is any consequences.

This isn’t something my company typically offers and would greatly change the scope of my role. Has anyone ever taken on a role like this? I'm a relatively junior data engineer (2yoe), the only other engineer (senior) that trained me left about a 6 months ago and I negotiated a nice raise for the extra responsibilities.

My performance reviews have been stellar, but my manager is starting to look to hire a senior to help me deliver projects as we do lack capacity right now.

I feel like I might be missing an opportunity to ask for a promotion and hire a junior instead.

Any opinions/tips?
