What's your take. Am I being ghosted? I've applied for a role a few times now. The first couple times I applied, my resume would be rejected within a few days. The fourth time I applied, my application sat "in process" on the job portal for 90 days until it was denied. Now I've applied a sixth time and its been almost 60 days without contact. What's going on? And yes I really want this position lol

I miss the times (circa 2006 - 2010)where it was quite normal to go out and meet girls and have them take you back home for the night. Such a great time to be alive. Now, everyone is so caught up with that digital app dating life and no one goes out anymore to meet people. So sad.

I am in a functional role where I need to work mostly on ppt, finding insights and a lil bit of cognos, SQL and python.
I have knowledge of data engineering and ml as well but not used in my role.
The most important factor is I am saving more than 2 lakhs pm in the role as it's onsite. Do you recommend to search for opportunities or continue in the functional role?

I’ve been verbally offered a position at a new company, but the recruiter insists on getting a verbal acceptance before sending the offer in writing. This person insists on negotiating salary before sending the paperwork. Generic benefits, RSUs, bonus info have been provided; it’s all unofficial.

This is absurd. Am I missing some “new way” of doing things? Your take?

Need career advice. Trying to break into a finance role, preferably an Analsyt role but I have no transferable experience. I worked as a mortgage loan officer (which is sales) for 2 years after college, but since mortgage is such a niche industry, no hard skills transfer and have no relevant undergrad internships unfortunately. I know I can essentially get any sales job I want in finance IE: financial advisor etc. but don’t want to be stuck in sales forever. Any advice?
