When I first started, I used to waste so much time running back and forth grabbing things. After a while, I learned little hacks like stashing an extra box cutter in my pocket, or folding boxes a certain way so they don’t collapse on me mid-shift. Tiny things, but they make a world of difference when you’re running on low energy and just trying to survive the day.

What’s the one hack at your job that you swear by?

This could be an interesting opportunity. I’m a youth soccer coach and have become very popular in our area. So much so that a local magazine is going to publish an article on me next month. With a marketable look, is there any pathway for me to utilize this opportunity for lucrative marketing deals? Open to thoughts and ideas.

Help - how do I fight claims by scammer healthcare providers?

I recently went to 2 different providers.

Dentist, made appt via Zocdoc to see a dentist that was in network. Another dentist at the location saw me instead who was out of network. I have text evidence they said it would be covered before visit. Claim was denied - asking for ~500 dollars.

Saw a specialist who’s office staff verified my insurance would fully cover the claim. Get the claim, says they are out of network. Owe 600.

Back when I was getting started in the food world, I worked flipping burgers at In-n-Out. A man came in and said the burgers he had gotten weren’t right. He dumped the food on the counter and then he started throwing them back behind the counter. We gave him a refund and then his demeanor completely changed. He was calmer and he told us to have a great day as he left us to clean up the mess he made.
