How does @Dentsu India interview process works? I had a total of 5 rounds After first 2 they said they are ok with me but they think I am more suitable for 2 other roles,if I want any of them they will redirect. Then I chose the second JD, i had 2 more rounds of interviews and they said they are happy with me and let the HR do their formalities. But after 3 days when I called HR, i was told they are having few more interviews with other candidates and will confirm me! Dentsu Creative

You have to be mindful of what your company wants you to do in this scenario. I personally would rather be crushed and have the truth, but that’s not always something we can give. For later-stage candidates, I will thank them for their time and keep the reasoning fairly high-level.
I would prefer to be honest with the candidate in these situations, but we have a very strict policy against giving any kind of feedback to candidates.

curious what the policy is if you're able to share
I do respond usually with encouragement and constructive feedback, but I avoid harsh details that might discourage them. My goal is to point out strengths and general areas to grow, so they leave with some clarity and hope for next time.

I will usually give some constructive feedback if it feels appropriate. I appreciate their time and effort interviewing with us and I don't want it to feel one sided.
I don’t respond beyond the initial sorry we’re going a different direction email. Getting into a deeper conversation just opens up the employer to liability issues.
