What is the learning path that i need to follow?

I’m thinking about transitioning to In-House from a big law firm where I practice Employee Benefits. Will employers consider me without the typical “corporate” or “litigation” experience?

Looking to get the hell out of media and back to brand strat or work client side. Any advice on what to leverage and how to approach the move

Interviewed for 5.5 hours today at a boutique IB today. Base comp is a slight bump. 14 mos in FDD @ PwC who will make senior this CRT - love the role but want to see more of the transaction besides TBs and TB detail. Comp isn’t a huge bump but the IB seems to have a good culture. 20 people. I really am struggling. I worried about FDD golden handcuffs with limited exit ops. Please advise!!! Is it just me or are there entirely too many people in Business Services, specifically TC’s, who are just folks from client service that don’t want to deal with hours and travel anymore but have no formal training in the Business Services function they transition to? It seems to me very few TC’s are professionals in HR with any background, training or certifications in HR.
