Have been pinged for a possible role as Director of Operations at a promising looking startup with a 50%% pay increase & equity. It looks like an amazing opportunity.. but my husband and I have just started trying for our first kid, and I'm not sure about leaving the stability and benefits of Big 4, even though I feel like I have run out of career growth here. Has anyone changed jobs at a similar point, or worked at a startup as a new mom, that might be able to share perspective or opinions?
Just sitting here thinking.. Dang, I got a 3% annual raise. I feel worthless to my firm. I should leave.
I got the J&J vaccine (only one I could get back in April) and unlike the MRNA vaccines, it looks like there is very little data on how it performs against the Delta variant. Any other J&Jers out there feeling a little nervous?
Thanks to Wild Wild Country, I have hours until I have to leave for my flight. Do I try to sleep or just find another documentary/series/movie to binge watch? Oh dear
I work at a nonprofit in Washington DC. I'm two years out of law school. My salary is $65K. Am I making more, about the same, or less, than I should be? If less, how much should I ask for and when?
I have 10+ years of experience Agency side, but looking to move Client side with remote work. I've applied for a number of roles either directly on Client sites or via LinkedIn, but haven't even received anything other than a straight rejection at the first stage. Wondering if anyone has experienced similar and overcome it/any tips. My resume has a number of large Agencies and global clients on it, with (IMO at least) some nice success stories, but wondering if I'm missing something obvious.

2 months in and already hate my life. Expectations not equal to reality. Getting told one thing, client getting told another. Might leave.
How is Slalom to work with? Interviewing with them next week. Is it on par with EY, KPMG ( in terms of quality of the people and culture)?
Perspectives on Managing Director (newly promoted) base and variable comp across big 4 and equivalent firms looks like these days?
Looking to transition back into Corp Finance (FP&A). What’s a realistic salary in an HCOL city? 4YOE (2 industry 2 consulting). I’m hoping for $120k base but not sure if I’m shooting too high.
Anyone have info on MBB/Strategy& supply chain consulting? Group size, actively hiring, common backgrounds (MBA/certifications required/helpful?), project types, & interview prep tips? Looking to enter as an experienced hire. Currently a procurement financial analyst and just passed my CSCP certification. Ex-big4. Thanks!
