I have 7 yr exp. and i have offer from Shell with 19 lpa & Mphasis with 16 lpa for BI reporting lead position. my friends from previous organization told me that Mphasis have lots of onsite opportunities but during interview my manager told me that it's totally depands upon project and very less chances in BI role. So what should i do in that case, should i go for shell or Mphasis ? I don't have any issue with less CTC in case i will get onsite in future.

I'm serving notice period in TCS and my last day is in 2 weeks. I requested for pickup of laptop in the portal but I came to know that it will take time for pickup and I won't be available if they come late. So I decided to go to office and surrender the laptop as I'm in the location of office only. Is there a seperate request to be raised for surrender of laptop and how to cancel the existing request for pickup. Please guide.Tata Consultancy

Not underestimating any job but a group D job after 4 years for B.Tech where as you have a 10 LPA offer?!!!can't draw any comparison

Absolutely it is a real question. Some might choose 10 LPA but some may choose Central Government no matter if it is Group D
Not some..1 in millions...get out of the mentality of 'secured sarkari naukri'...when you have privilege to do a job syncing with your qualification then opt for that..leave the group D post for ones who don't have enough opportunity..what you are considering is called choosing underemployment voluntarily.
If you crack UPSC or SSC CGL then you can compare(because both are graduate level jobs syncing with your qualification)
Better join IT firm over Group D. If you've cracked any other govt job like CGL, UPSC, state Group 1 or 2 or may be RRB JE, then you can think a make a decision.
