In our first assignments for Amquest Education’s digital marketing class, we learned to not just go after likes and followers without thinking. When you're starting out, it's way more important to look at how people are reacting to your stuff, how many people you're actually getting to see it, and whether people are saving or sharing it. These tell you if your content is really hitting home, rather than just being something people scroll right by.
When we are talking about reaction, that includes likes, comments, shares, and replies. A post might not have a ton of likes, but if it gets lots of comments or shares, it's usually doing better overall. Reach tells you how many eyes actually saw your post , which helps you know if your content is getting around. Saves are also a great sign that people think your content is worth keeping.
So instead of obsessing about looking popular, put your energy into making stuff that your audience finds valuable and on-topic. That's what gets you noticed by platforms, and that's what helps you get bigger.
Okay, when we started doing small digital marketing stuff at Amquest Education, we learned fast that it's all about what folks do, not just look at. When you're beginning, things like click-through rates, what they say in comments, and if a post gets you new followers are more important than just views.
CTR shows if people want to know more. Comments tell you their thoughts, especially questions or tags. Seeing which posts get followers helps you know what content people dig.
It's easy to focus on the big numbers, but stuff really works when you know how your articles change people. You want articles that make peeps click, comment, share. That's where it's at.
