That is exactly how I feel! I was just talking about this and said it’s like doing homework, but I get paid for it. Not sure if I’m at the wrong place or I need a bigger change. Been here for 2 years and have been feeling like this for most of it.
That can happen if you can't find something inspiring about the work. I tend to get interested in some of the client's business, which helps. And while the writing isn't the most exciting, there's always something about it that's challenging enough to keep it interesting. If I got to the point where I was really bored I'd look for another job.

Exactly how I feel! I’ve been so checked out lately from my work - which is so unlike me. But I just can’t get myself to care
I genuinely enjoy working in CPG! I like some tasks more than others, but I love finding an insight, creating a campaign / idea & bringing it to life. I also love to see how our efforts drive sales & ladder back up to the overarching biz goals. That said, I felt like this at times at my old agency. I just needed a change of pace and new focus!

That is the exact way I described my experience at a big agency before I made the decision to leave. When it all started to just feel like homework and a never ending list of university assignments, it was my sign to go. I didn't feel like I was really contributing to anything greater.
