I don't think complacency is the root. What I believe is that those above a CD are directing their attention aware from the work that effects their teams, without being able to say bluntly, the higher ups want me to focus on other things. Agency life does a poor job of explaining the business of running an agency, especially one reporting to a holding company
Because there is nothing new under the sun.
