Why does every job that sounds meaningful also seem to pay 40% less? I’ve seen some amazing roles, but the comp would take me back to what I made three years ago. How are we supposed to choose between purpose and a paycheck? I’m not trying to get rich. I just need to make a livable wage Has anyone actually found a way to balance both?

Hello hive mind. I am currently interviewing with three agencies. Pretty far along with two of them. One of the positions is a Jr. copywriter position while the other two are just for a copywriter. How important would it be to not have the “Jr” before the title? Personally, I don’t care about the title, but wonder about future employer’s?

I have a Q that I worry is going to make me sound like a jerk, but want some opinions. I do strength training 2x/wk with a trainer who was assigned to me at a gym where I bought a pack of sessions. I don’t really consider myself “his” client bc the relationship is managed by the gym… but lately he keeps saying like “I can’t wait to see what my clients give me for Christmas” and I find it super awkward.
