Hi everyone, I have 2 years of experience in a service based industry as a Java developer, and I am eager to work hard and switch to a reputed product based organisation, but I am not getting proper time to study and practice data structures and algorithms, as I have so much to learn and understand things which are related to my project. Any suggestions would be appreciated and I'll try to inculcate it. Thanks in advance! Amazon Oracle Samsung Microsoft Cisco Salesforce Arcesium Uber

It was tough for me to find something because so many companies are looking for someone with industry experience already at the level you'd be transitioning into as a senior manager. It look me a year to land a job, and only had a handful of actual interviews despite applying to at least 75 jobs. I was a SM at an int'l firm and now I'm a controller at a pretty small private company - 3 years ago I would have quit already due to their lack of complexity, etc. But I haven't worked over 40 hours yet, work from home one day a week and sometimes more. My mindset has changed to living for my job to needing it to live, and so I am fine just putting in my 40 and kind of coasting along. I am making the exact same as before leaving public, with a lot less stress.
You just need to know what you want when you are interviewing and not be afraid to ask pointed questions to understand the culture/hours. It's not worth leaving public to wind up with the same stress!
To add to that.... is anyone who has left public accounting at this level happy w their new job. I’m super worried about getting into something far worse. I’ve seen the C levels in our client base turn over frequently and it worries me!!
