What's the salary range for a director at the Gilead Sciences foundation? There is a position perfect for me, but I don't want to throw my hat in the ring if starting salary isn't $180-190k. Also, any thoughts on the stability of their philanthropic commitment? There's talk of a recession; I don't want to go private to be cute a few months later.

Don’t! It’s archaic - the quality of work is usually lower and it’s 100% an old white dude’s club (in my experience)
Lol I like the good ol’ boys culture.
Hit or miss. Most are old and slow to change. Lack resources and processes. As a manager there’s a good chance you’ll be slammed doing manager and senior work. Upside is a clear path to partner and sometimes they can be a really great place to work.
I started at a small firm and have gone bigger from here. Agree with the above.
There’s more corporate BS at larger firms but sometimes hours can be worse at small firms
