You're working with the wrong recruiters
Good ones do. Best recruiters I had redlined mine lol
I’ve had a recruiter tweak mine though didn’t end up getting a role through him and other two who didn’t do anything I actually ended up getting hired through so I don’t think it’s always helpful 🤣
I suppose some might offer feedback, but I suspect most of them avoid getting involved with it. It's more a binary decision, they will or will not work with you. If your material needs work, that usually means they're not going to work with you, and if they're not working with you they don't owe you any free advice. That may sound rude or heartless, but from their perspective it makes sense.
Plenty of good candidates need help with their materials and interview prep. A good recruiter makes a difference
That’s part of a recruiter’s job
You’ve been working with bad recruiters
I almost always rip up a resume. I avoid working with litigators if i can so i try to never see writing samples.. 🤷🏻♂️
They are busy
I had never have a recruiter offer redlining my resume
