If you are thinking of starting a law practice or growing one with little or no capital, you need to get the book, “Starting & Growing a Law Practice without Breaking the Bank.
It was written based on personal experience and research. I started my practice 11 years ago in the middle of the 2008/2009 recession with about $500 and I have grown the practice significantly over the years using affordable and available resources.
I also coach solo practitioners and small firm attorneys. https://www.amazon.com/Starting-Growing-Practice-Without-Breaking/dp/1099523303

Happens to my sister quite often.
Yep, I've seen it happen loads. People just do that unfortunately
Yep. I mean it's kind of true, but it's super frustrating when people don't trust my opinion and ask to talk to the "real doctor." I'm so sorry, I get it! Hopefully one of these days it will make sense to people that Black Women CAN be "real" doctors, too!
I'm sorry your knowledge is often discredited in this way.
Happens to me ALL the time. You shoudl see their faces when I say "actually, I'm the Doctor". They usually look embarrassed and then apologize to me.
That seems very frustrating. May be just for fun asking someone who says that "who did you expect your doctor to be?"
I have zero energy to explain at this point as it happens almost daily. I've had the rudest people and I'm like whatever floats your boat, Karen.
I wish I had these doctors problems lol.. try working the front desk for 2 cents an hour
Happens to us nurses too, I commonly get told to go get the nurse. 🤦🏾♀️
