Thank you!
I went with uplift desk. I think they are a competitor to varidesk that BCG used. I liked uplift because I only wanted the legs and motor assembly as I was making my own top out of some reclaimed heart of pine. I did it that way because I enjoy woodworking and could custom build the size I wanted. They do have plenty of options for tops out of different types of wood so all you have to do is assembly. One thing of note it’s much easier to do the assembly upside down and then flip the desk. But, with uplift the motors are quite heavy and you will need two people to flip it. They have some great options including monitor arms even for dual monitors and clamp on power which make using the desk pretty convenient. They even have a rolling file cabinet that doubles as a seat if you’ll occasionally have someone sitting down next to you to take a look at what you were doing and do not want to have a second chair permanently there. That is a nice feature if you occasionally help a kid with homework or something like that.
Looking into Uplift now. Thank you!
Using Varidesk...and quite pleased.
