I work at a Financial Institution and have recently been approached about a Director role with my prior company. It’s a great opportunity but I have 2 young kids (Preschool/Elementary ages) and I don’t want to sacrifice time with them for career advancement. I would love to hear from working moms in senior leadership roles to understand if it’s possible to balance both, or is it best to wait a few more years? Not happy currently and looking to move, but unsure of pursuing lateral vs. a promotion

I’m the CCO and I hired for a director of compliance role with oversight of the compliance department and hired her part time (30 hrs.) She is a rock star and I’m willing to be flexible for the right person. She wanted time with her baby and she gives 100% at the office and we are 2 days wfh each week. I think you can find some place that will provide flexibility.

Hi Fishes, I've 2.25 Years of experience in SAP Basis, but I've lost interest in the same due to not receiving proper training, inability to practice on customer's system and shifts. Looking for guidance. I’ve been in people manager roles (in director/senior leader capacity) for the last 5 years now, and prior to that I was a “rockstar” Project Manager. I’ve worked really hard to get to the position I’m in today, but I’ve been recently asked to move from my current role to a senior IC role to take on a highly visible Program for the company, with some very senior stakeholders.
