To elaborate further. Both US and UK firms did layoffs and are possibly going to take place again next FY. Hiring is very scrutinized for catalyst hires or specific roles. Joining the US with hopes of such a short term international transfer sounds out of market to me. Try applying directly in the UK to PwC and other firms that could sponsor you. Transferring someone is EXPENSIVE. Im a transferee myself and PwC covers many “amenities” like moving your furniture that are really expensive. Strong business cases are needed in this market. Join back if you want, if you want to get transferred Id discuss it in the interviews. I would not join just with the hopes since it might really not happen with the timeframe you mentioned
No, from an Acceleration Center in Argentina to PwC US (non AC). I informed my stakeholder in the US (Partner) that I was going to leave the firm and he offered to move me anywhere in the world to keep me in PwC, I picked the US
