16 - Fixed & 45k variable component with 1Lakh joining bonus. I'm having 5.8 YOE working as Senior ACon with current CTC - 11lpa
I have cleared 2nd round(managerial) with TCS direct project recruitment and waiting for salary negotiation. I'm confused whether to join TCS now itself (which might be too soon to settle down) or go for CTS for next 2 years. Please suggest me. Is it misleading to just look at Total Compensation from a $ dollar value/ Total Compensation seems to be much more subjective than base salary in terms of its value. Some factors might be:

RSUs granted on dollar value or by # of shares & stock price trends
Vesting schedule
strike price on ISOs & delta between strike price and real market value

For instance, most of value in Amazon's comp seems to be granted in years 3 & 4, but it's well known that most people last only 2 years max there.

I currently work in Private (GA) Aviation & have for some time (about 12 years) I’m currently making the switch to the Department of Aviation and am unsure if I should ditch my current job (in private) and go full force with the DOA & embrace this new opportunity educationally and gather as much experience as I can or keep both jobs even though I’d be working 80hr weeks..
