Would it be dumb to get a seasonal job in something not related to what I majored in? I graduated over a year ago and haven't had luck landing a job. My aunt suggested coolworks.com, and there's some basic jobs like front desk receptionist or serving jobs in really cool places. I think it might be a cool way to earn a little money while getting to see more of the U.S., but it also kind of feels like a waste of my degree...

Key positives for my current employer are pay and security. But my new role within the company isn't working for me, and ultimately I don't think it is for the company either.

A much much smaller (20 people) company offered me a role.

With the global economic situation as is, is it worth the risk to change to a job I know i'd like more with less pay, and potentially less job security?
