Don’t measure against your peers. Everyone had a different pay based on certain circumstances. You should be asking what does a director or partner make and does the shit show to get there and stay there make it worth it.
Based on my experience, knowing someone else's salary never helped me negotiate mine. It did create a lot of tension between two coworkers.
You don't have to reveal individual people's salaries.
Publishing data on averages by level, service line and location could potentially help people who are less aggressive at negotiating. Just sort of making sure you arent being underpaid compared to your peers.
