Can someone kindly connect me with Investment Banking HR/Recruiter/anyone willing to help? My friend interviewed for Goldman Sachs NY. Cleared the HireVue but didn’t get any communication further. It’s been 4 weeks now. Although the referral came from a VO but the division is different. My friend is looking for Investment Banking division. Need to get in touch with someone from investment banking to push the resume. The rolling process is hurting the chances.Thank you Goldman Sachs

There is currently not one single qualified person working in the American executive branch. There are agency leads still hoping broadcast TV returns to the early 2000’s in viewership.
You are good enough. Accept the job. The bar is low and you are already better. Take a salary at the lower end of the band so you don’t become a target, and work your ass off.
Yea if Trump can be president, you can be the CEO

Wow. Political silliness instead of a real response. Do better people.
I’ve been hired and promoted based on potential, not just proof, more than once. You CAN do it, if you believe you can, and if you understand your learning gaps and work to fill them. VP1 is also right, make sure you know the expectations.

Fake it till you make it
Are you clear on the expectations? And how do you feel about your boss? I think those are the two key factors.
At some point in your career lots of people take a leap of faith.
Be confident in yourself, which it seems like you are you. You never know until you try. You miss 100% of your shots you don’t take.
And to be frank at your level not many people are truly ready for roles they interview for.
You are not setting yourself up for failure, it’s just a lesson learned.
If you “fail” it will not set back your career, you working in advertising there will be plenty of opportunity at your stage of your career.
This industry is full of people who took a role they were not truly ready for.
