Would you relocate away from your spouse from the west coast to NYC for a job, with the plan to move again once a remote or local opportunity is found or until they can relocate? This is provided that there are no other offers on the horizon

Not unless your career ambitions are greater than your spouse/love and you want to choose your job over your spouse.

My students come to my class first every morning and are really hard to settle. They continue to carry on whatever they were doing on the bus. It takes about 20 min to get them settled down and doing the warm up and the class is only 45 min. Any tips?

Hi all!
Would love some insight on how you went from an HR assistant/coordinator to an HR Generalist. I’ve been in the HR world for 8 years, and only in the last 2-3 have I really done real HR work. The first company I was at didn’t have a solid HR team so I don’t really count that. I feel like I’m ready to take on more responsibility and learn more. And of course make more money.

I have looked into getting SHRM certification. But should I go back to school and get my masters in Hr?
