Made mistakes (drafting errors and tardiness to a call) that feel irredeemable… although no one has scolded me yet. As we move into next phase of the transaction the senior associate on the deal asked to meet 1-1 to discuss “logistics” and “my time/role” on the transaction. . .

Any advice on how to handle in the instance that I receive negative feedback during this conversation?

I got an offer for another counsel position for a Regional section of the government, the pay is way more but it’s more focused on construction. I have been at my current firm for about 1.5 years, and in that entire time the partner in my group hasn't been out of the office a single time. Is that normal? I can't tell if it's standard for big law partners to not take time off, if the dynamics for my group may be different (only 1 partner in the entire group), or it the partner I work with is just a masochist.
