Years ago at another agency I owned, a national CPG client brought on a new president shortly after we were awarded the business with the contract signed. He didn't like being on a monthly retainer and wanted to be on a per-project basis. So one year later he just decided to stop paying us and tried to stiff us for $30K. It was the first time I ever had our attorneys defend our interest being violated by a client.

We settled on $20K, parted ways, and then were rehired by them a year later.

Recruiters. You tell me a range, I tell you it’s low.

Do you think, “he’s trying to game the system?” Or, “if his agency is paying that much he must be doing something right?”

I received an offer (28 Lakhs + 3.9 Lakhs incentive) from Novartis for Sr Project Manager yesterday. This was just 13.6% more than my current earnings as Project Manager. I've given the reasons why I deserve at least 30% to HR. In response to that, HR has sent 2nd offer i.e. 29 Lakhs + 4 Lakhs incentive + 50k sign-on bonus. The 2nd offer is just 18.2% higher than my current earnings. Need your suggestion, if I could still negotiate with HR to finalize deal by asking for 25% hike?

Giving notice tomorrow. Accepted another offer. Nervous to tell my boss because I know I’ll be leaving them screwed but I’m miserable. Love my team. The client is stupid and the work is soul crushingly uncreative. But still feel guilty :(

I'm holding an offer from MakeMyTrip and another offer from OlaElectric. Ninjacart is willing to make me an offer. But they're saying that they'd discuss the offer only after the other company that I'm interviewing with has come up with an offer first. There's been a delay from HRs of the companies in a similar way. How do I urge them to send me the offer letter without sounding pushy? I had reached out to some of the HRs myself. Would that be too awkward if I accept & back out their offer?

This might sound silly but if the job is still posted after you've done your loop, is that an indication the team is still looking? It's day 2 after my loop so excuse my anxiety.
