Damn, that's some bad luck. But hey, at least you're getting feedback. I just get ghosted and never know what I did wrong.
They did you a favor because you would never want to work for a company who didn't train their managers how to interview. Those who gave you that kind of feedback are not professionals and are hurting the reputation of that company. You deserve better than what they had to offer. I hate to say this but some managers won't hire a person who they believe might outperform them. Mgrs who do that hurt themselves. I always hired for my weaknesses. I had the best team and we excelled and because I was the HR manager, I was the one recognized by the divisions we serviced, I was given bonuses etc but I always shared with my team. I was nothing without them. If one of my employees had a bad day at work for whatever reason (even grief over loss of pet]
I would take the day off and we would go to the zoo and just walk around, have lunch, and by the end of the day they were lighter hearted. We worked hard. We worked long days. I hand picked each one of them based on skills they had that I didn't have, their common sense answers to my questions, and their pleasant personality! Then I provided training to help acclimate them to our corporate standards and any other specialized training they might need. We strived for success and had fun doing it. I hope all of you find a corporation or company that places value on its employees.
Companies give feedback without being scared of lawsuits? Their feedback sounds heavily biased, and mostly just excuses not to hire someone. It’s not like they’re giving any technical feedback with actual data involved.
For once, I’d rather they just keep the feedback to themselves if it isn’t productive. Looking bored, too serious, too thoughtful, that’s not constructive, it’s just kind of criticism. If you do get something meaningful, use it, but right now I’d shrug it all off.
Don't give up. continue being you! The right job will come along. it might not be the first job you have but it takes the experience of several jobs sometimes before you recognize the right job when you get it. Just remember... an interview is not just them interviewing you, it's also you interviewing them.
Sounds like it's not even about you and more about their culture/inconsistent hiring standards. None of their feedback discussed your talent/value. Sometimes rejection is protection. The right team won’t make you shrink to fit.

Curious where some of these places are. The feedback seems to play to common stereotypes and not to your actual ability.
exactly, it's their opinion of him! which leads me to believe the person doing the interview sees him as a threat thus the personal attack. Some managers won't hire someone who they believe will outperform him/her. To justify the decision not to hire and in many cases not to promote, the person blames the applicant or employee by ridiculing him. findings fault! Stay away from manipulators like that unless you have a strong HR group.
Too enthusiastic? Wow, I have never even heard of such a thing. When I am hiring for a role I love interviewing someone that is enthusiastic and excited about the role for which they applied. I am sorry they said that to you but I would not worry about it. It sounds to me like that just wasn't the job for you and something else will come your way.
Hmm, I really never cut my own hair, would you recommend it? Gotta have a sense of humor in that case!
omg this is so against, cant believe it
