I finished a third round interview, and HR contacted me that afternoon saying I had positive feedback across the board and they would contact me the next day regarding next steps. It’s been two days and they finally get back to me saying they haven’t been able to sync with the hiring manager but will keep me posted. Honestly I wish they would talk with the hiring manager and then let me know the decision instead of checking in. It’s messing with my emotions.

I had a final - 5th interview at mckinsey. I think I did okay. Partner and I laughed most of the time discussing about me... How long usually take to hear back? And wish me luck.....!!!

been in industry (small companies) for 5 years with an active CPA. Wanted to get in SEC reporting roles but almost every company requires 2-year public accounting exp. Now applying for public accounting firms entry level positions but almost all firms HR asked if I had ever worked in firms. Got rejection emails from firms all the time. Is this a dead lock? firms exp matters much more than a CPA license?

Salesforce was near the top of my list of prospective companies. Curious if anyone has experience working there and would recommend it over HubSpot?

So I was a 5th year associate in nyc making 100 k a year 2k billable hours.. I decided to leave for the role Im in now.. my old countered to keep me at 115k (which was like pulling teeth for them) but I left anyways now I find out that they offered a 7th year 150 k and a partner title should I be offended that they didn’t even try more with me

Has anyone else worked two programming roles at one time?
I currently work as a Contracted Software Engineer and I’m set to finish my contracted time at the end of October. To stay ahead of game I started to move forward in the interview process with another opportunity as an Application Software Programmer and just received notification that I got the position. What can you do if you’re getting interviewed by the same person who didn’t choose you in the first place?
Context: I applied for a position a while back and got interviewed, but didn’t go to the next round. I found the same position open again a month later at a different location and applied. Almost immediately, I was called for an interview, but with the same interviewer. What does this mean? Is this going to get awkward?

If an otherwise good interview the interviewer says: “I think you have great experience that will help you wherever you go”. Should I be reading into this?
