general question, about how long after submitting an online application should one assume that they aren’t getting an interview?

I directly said that I can't since I have my family here to client.

I'm currently in the final rounds of interviewing. If I get a formal offer how have you gone about negotiating vacation? I've given them my desired salary already so that's not an issue but I'm used to having 5 weeks of vacation time and I want to make sure I at least am give something somewhat comparable to that.

I’ve finished all the interviews with both company A and B. I have received an offer from company B. So I asked company A to speed up the process because my offer from company B will expire in few days.

However, company A still hasn’t got back to me with an offer in writing after two days.

Not trying to read too much into signs because I don’t want to get hopes up to be let down, but what does it mean that a recruiter follows up an email within 1hr not by email, but phone call with an update that I’m one of the two final candidates.
