Since we’re working remotely, I’m looking to put a desk in my bedroom. Does anybody have any good but cheap suggestions? I’m looking to also buy a desktop monitor to hook up to my laptop
Anyone pretty unhappy about Big4 Firms Responses to economic climate? Call me selfish but the fact that I’m getting shafted on pay raise and bonus so advisory people get to keep their jobs has me mad.
Have any of the big 4 or Grant announced pay cuts? BDO just did. Just want to understand if others are doing the same.
Anyone recommends The Siegfried Group? Recruiter reached out to me and the pay seems that it can't be better. Is this true or is there any concerns towards the work load and bonus that I should know?

Starting on a whole new engagement in July as an A2. What should I do to learn about the client? Feels like I wasted a year at my current client and will need to repeat my A1 year at the new client.
Is it reasonable to feel sad about having been trimmed off a team? They didn’t need additional ppl from my level this year and I was the first to go. I know it’s how audit works but I guess I’m upset
Do you sometimes read your evaluation, all you want to is to quit and you can dispute on everything they say?
Ever had to communicate that an audit client’s accounting department is incompetent? How did you handle? Growing family business, their accountant doesn’t really get GAAP. Is it weird to feel guilty?
How are firms treating their employees during this time? Do you feel as if morale is low (excluding the fact we aren’t face to face with people daily)
