Guys, my friend had her last working day last week and she thinks she forgot to fill her timesheet for her last 2 days before handing over the laptop. What can be the consequences of this? She is really worried about this
P.S she belongs to a back end team serving the firm internally charging time on only one code.

I've been a B4 partner for over 20 years, and am starting to transition my book of business to younger partners so that I can retire in a year. So, I probably have been doing this longer than most. Yes, the hours are long at certain times of the year, and yes, it can be stressful. But I actually enjoy the collaboration with my teammates and my clients, as well as the reality that I'm still learning after all this time. I never feel stuck in a rut and I legitimately enjoy my job more days than not.
I have a ton of passions outside of work, and I am looking forward to being able to focus on them. I also have a spouse, adult children, family, and friends that I love spending time with. I have always prioritized work and my immediate family, with everything else taking a back seat. It will be good to change that.
Overall, it was a pretty good career, and I probably would do it again if I had the chance to do my career over - and, to be fair, it was pretty lucrative as well. As much as I love working with my team and my clients, I would not continue to do so for free.
RSM1 - Are you insinuating that offshore resources are less than human, so that you can not build a relationship with them? That might be the most racist thing I have seen posted on Fishbowl in weeks.
I enjoy what i do, but i would say i did not enjoy it as a audit senior to senior manager. Those years doing a lot of grunt work and late hours are tough. But what you can lose sight of is that experience builds you into an expert thaat then lets you go on and do more interesting things.
Things i enjoy know working with a partner group build a business, office and culture. Being able to have a real impact to change things. Love busines development and making new connections and growing those relationships some into actual friendships. Review audit work papers still isn't may favorite task, but helping people learning and develop into leaders in the firm is amazing and fulfilling.
I would sum it up by saying if you can stick it out during those early years it can get much better.
