We have 5 attorneys (3 partners; 2 associates). Senior associate (who is being promoted to non-equity partner) is pregnant. I did and it's killing me because now I'm working till 2 am, but its not showing on paper. I o ly show 8 or 9 hours. Let me tell you, I love the flexibility at my firm, OK pay, and I do a great job, and am comfortable pushing back when I have too much work . BUT managers are terrible at planning and recently end up putting me in preventable situations where I need to work 55 hrs or have the staff work the 55 hours. I literally cannot since I have a family and my daughter is only in day care a few hours a day, I'm already doing my max work. Is it crazy that I may want to leave Bc I hate making ppl miserable?
