1. Get a decent book. 2. Get into an agency where you have a chance of making an SB ad. 3. Only then can you start criticizing others, Stu.

Any Accenture execs out there? I'm wondering about your views on the culture at ACN at the exec level. Got a query from a recruiter recently and I am curious.

Hello, Looking for Senior Consultant/ Lead advisory role. Having 6+ experience in Information security. Certification in CISA, CISM and AWS CCP

Hi! I have two offers and I’m not sure what to do. One is with a small firm that serves as outside counsel to medical practices (leasing, employment issues and acquisitions are primary work load) and the other is in-house for a pharmaceutical company (managing outside counsel, vendor contracts, privacy). The firm pays much better (1800 hours, flexible wfh) but I feel like the experience in house would go further in becoming a GC down the road. Please help!

Will you be fired or asked to leave/laid off if you are deemed “not trying hard enough”? How do you know when it’s happening?

Would like to hear opinions on this scenario: County-owned Nursing Home & Rehab center (240 skilled, 40 rehab beds) being sold to a new buyer. The home has a contract w/ a food service company that would need renewed by the potential buyer if they choose. The employee in this scenario is a Clinical Nutrition Manager who works for this food service company. Their department is Clinical Nutrition, consisting of 2 employees including the Manager. Job security, maintaining similar pay up in the air.

Does anyone know if new hires at PwC CA are getting a WFH stipend to buy a second screen?

This might be a dumb question but when folks say max out 401k contributions, do they mean the full 19.5k per year? I usually do the 5% to get my company match.

State your firms retirement benefits...401k and so on. Accenture is 100% match up to 6%, but only after year 1.

How do you figure out what market pay is for your job?? I just had my annual compensation meeting and while it’s not a bad raise/bonus, I still feel like I’m being paid significantly under market. Before I go negotiate, I want to figure out what others are being paid at my experience level.

New to investing, but want to make sure I'm doing this correctly. I've maxed out my 401K and am looking to open an IRA. I know everyone recommends backdooring this into a Roth IRA, but if my plan is to move/retire to a state with no state income tax, wouldn't traditional make more sense? Or am I overthinking this? Also, if I go the backdoor route, how do I make sure I don't get taxed again, when i convert to a Roth? Thanks in advance!
