I know there’s probably a better bowl to post this in but just looking for insights anywhere I can get them. So I’m interviewing with a Senior Director of Product at Apple tomorrow and trying to think of a few good questions to ask at the end that are outside of the typical culture and work life questions. HR is scheduling the interviews without checking time with me. One interview was scheduled and then it was rescheduled to a different time at last minute. I wasn't available at that time so I mailed the HR for a different slot. They again scheduled it for a later date without checking the time with me.

Anyone have any advice or insight on interviewing for a GS General Attorney position? I’m really excited and working to prepare for an interview I’ve been offered. It’s 3 part, on one day. 2 one on one interviews and a panel interview. For reference, it’s a position in an agency that’s involved in both trade and national security. I’m a litigation junior associate in private practice now, but have a long academic background in international trade, policy, and security.

My friend received two job offers for Account Executive roles: a Mid-Market role with Confluent and an Enterprise role with ThoughtSpot. He’s conflicted because Confluent is a more established company, ThoughtSpot is Pre-IPO. Confluent is a lucrative product to sell and has established SDR reps so there’s a good blend of inbound and outbound sales. Thoughtspot is more of a startup culture where most of the sales comes from outbound and it’s a tougher sell.

Ever since Covid I’ve started having trouble sleeping because I dream of attacks happening in various locations (weird I know). I’m normally *very* practical/pragmatic about that sort of thing, and I’m fine again once I wake up, so I’m pretty sure it’s just a reflection of feeling like I can’t control the situation as every time I can’t seem to stop my fiancé from dying no matter what I do :(

Told a friend of mine in tech I was considering moving to BCG. He asked me if I would have to move to Boston.

I followed up by asking what he thought the top consulting firms were. "I'd guess PwC and then McKinsey are the best. I've also heard of KPMG, Deloitte, and Bain, but I don't know much about them."
