McKinsey & Company McKinsey & Company I have my first rounds (2 cases) for a position at the risk practice. Will I be interviewed by consultants in the risk practice? I wonder if I can ask some risk practice specific questions at the end of the interviews. (Didn’t get the names of the interviewers yet so I cannot google)

Have a clear point of view on what you’re looking for, practice how you want to communicate your experience so you can respond quickly and conversationally about it regardless of how they ask (tell me about yourself as one approach, tell me about a time you... as another approach) and don’t overthink it. You could end up less excited about them once you’ve seen a peak behind the curtain. Good luck!
Good advice^. I’d also say that it’s great to show your enthusiasm about the place, but don’t appear desperate or focus on that over the value you bring (I’ve not hired people who continually say “I’ve just always wanted to work at XXX) - while enthusiasm is great, I’m hiring you to do a job, not for a check on your career bucket list! Good luck and keep us posted!
Keep your cool. Be enthusiastic but not overly eager. Don’t say you’ve always wanted to work there. Keep it about the creative work and why you like what they’ve done.
