Received an offer from Big 4. The salary + bonus total amount matched the salary I asked for (which would be about 30% bump) and I asked the recruiter is I can get higher salary/lower sign on bonus instead. Recruiter mentioned that that will put me at the top of he range for my level and until I get promoted to SM, the annual increase may be minimal. Thoughts on this? Went through multi-day loop for L5 SA and felt confident in my interactions. Presentation went well with no lack of answers for follow up questions. Just found out 6 days later I will not be receiving an offer, and it is policy to not provide feedback of gaps or reasons behind no offer. Also found out they ask you not to reapply for 1 to 2 years for same role. Would anyone recommend an alternate path for feedback on interview (outside of recruiter) and is the 1-2 year policy true?
