Tata Consultancy Hi fishies, I recently interviewed for a Big data dev role for Autodesk but it's via a third party called Applicantz. Initially the contract is for 1 year, which can be extended. There is also scope of Autodesk hiring permanently after 6 months or 1 year. Can anyone provide some reviews about Autodesk and third party Applicantz. Usually I would not have considered anything via a third party, but the company(Autodesk) seems great and work discussed seems good as well.

I joined in Accenture as level 8. Prior to joining, I was apporached by a project, and they seemed to not convince with my lack of knowledge about the role hence they dropped me even after contacting couple of times. Now I have got call from another one and they also seem to be not fully sure because my last role was very different. My question is how difficult is it to get a project in Accenture? Will this interviews continue? Also, what are the chances of me getting a suitable role?

I am in a confusion,
I work for tcs and for retention, tcs is offering Canada onsite and they need 4 to 5 months to process the visa
I have 2 offers in hand one is CTS (16.3+ 70000) and HCL (19+3)
Hcl is pakka support project (operations) no chance of development. I am having 10 YOE and completely in development.
CTS not sure about project.
Fishes, can you please help me understand which is a better option that I have.

I was at all 3 firms and I recommend Deloitte as well for someone early or mid in their career. EY audits Salesforce work and you won’t find quality Salesforce work. Slalom tends to have more staff aug work and very small bonuses and annual raises. Deloitte would most likely pay the best, good people and projects, but poor work life balance out of the 3. Doubt anyone will travel much anytime soon too.
Take the Deloitte offer and start looking for the next place to jump to after 1-2 years for better work life balance and pay bump

Deloitte for sure out of these options, then move after 2 years.
Deloitte doesn’t have the 80-100% travel in consulting now it is 50% and most aren’t doing any. Provides more project diversity, career mobility and perks for points. Slalom I hear is a good firm and making strong strides
