Hello Fishes, I carry 5.9 yrs of exp in International inside sales & LeadGen (Domestic- 2 yrs & Europe- 3.9 yrs) working for Tata Elxsi from past 2.8 years. As I'm not getting the expected hike based on my performance, I want to change the co. Current package - 8LPA, too low compared to market standards.
* Let me know- how much should I quote if I start to give interviews * Is it a good time to switch co. Also share which companies should I approach. Thanks in advance.
Could you please help me by sharing your review (if u have worked or working) for the below companies. Salary is almost same (Senior Test Automation Position) but I am not aware of company culture or wlb. Any help would be much appreciated. 1-> Genpact 2-> Standard chartered gbs 3->Siemens 4->GlobalLogic Thanks in Advance #genpact #standardcharterd #siemens #globalligic

Can’t fully adjust for COL in high cost cities. Living in NY or SF is also a consumption choice.
Seems right
3 years out of grad school, 8.5 years of total paid work experience
Yeah that’s the same as me. Depends on the industry of course, but 185+15% doesn’t seem out of line. What industry?
@m1. After 3 years i would expect you to be in the low 200s assuming you went to a good mba and had real.solid mba level consulting
Its hard to compare and determine w/o knowing the industry and type of company. I am 3 years in, a manager out of an M7, and accepted an offer for 175K, no bonus but with equity. This is with a startup though so its obviously different from a F500 company. I think FB gets a little silly when everyone starts saying an offer is low when they have limited context and may not even be in the market at the same exit level themselves.
What’s your current base Op?
Including cost of living it would be under my current salary. And I left a job that paid more to work for McK. So it would be less than last two jobs.
No it’s in a a second/third tier city by cost
Yes it’s low, 220 base , 15% bonus with clear path on future bonus increases and some sign on too
C1 where is that?
I think its a bit low (about 10%).
Whoever is hiring you next knows that they are getting someone w only 1.5 years exp at mckinsey, so i would not expect a huge post mckinsey bump.
If i were you, i would be happy w 195k + 15% bonus
For those who’ve provided input - are you focusing on the # of years in consulting, or # of years of post-MBA experience overall?
If it’s not the # yrs of post-MBA experience, how much would be fair for 3 yrs post-MBA?
As reference, I have 1.5 years consulting and post MBA experience. Just offered 172k + 25% bonus in Tier 2/3 city as well. So it’s at least on par with that.
How many total years of experience do you have?
Yeah agreed - it’s low
