2 years in LS consulting - got laid off recently. Now the world is my oyster, what should I do? Any recommendations?

Why isn't Deloitte USI allowing to work from anywhere/work from office locations of your choice?
I tried getting a transfer to Kolkata but apparently Cloud Engineering service line transfers to Kolkata is currently blocked as conveyed by an HR. Any help/suggestions on the same would be hugely appreciated.

I got an offer with TCS and initially selected joining date as Jan 2.. but current org released me in 1 month instead of 3 months.. I asked TCS HR and others for early Onboarding but they didn't respond well..

After that I got one offer and joined immediately. But now I don't like to work here as I have to go to office all 5 days mandatorily, also role is slightly new to me.

How can join in TCS on the selected date ?
Any possibility?

I work with a classroom of Middle School ED students. One student, who I worked with the year before, has changed alot over the year. Last year (pre COVID), she had a good head on her shoulders and I thought I had good rapor with her. But over that period of isolation, she tried to commit suicide.

All year, she was much more withdrawn and ALWAYS on her phone! At the end of the I was 'beat up by her - she really knocked my glasses off.
