Looking to pivot into healthcare consulting. I come from a MHA background with a two year Administrative Fellowship following it. Any experience breaking into one of the top consulting firms with this type of background?

Get some Ops experience for 2 years and then you’d be a good fit at any of the big consulting firms.

like

one thing is to update your resume properly and just apply! you don’t need much experince to break into consulting and an MHA will be super beneficial

like

Agree - Update Resume and apply - Worst case scenario - you make connections that you can stay in contact with as you gain more experience!

like

You’ll probably come in at the same level as MHAs right from target schools. But just apply.

Presence Saint is criminal… they billed my insurance over $5,600 for an er visit plus an additional $1,100 for the physician to interpret results of my ekg. I have high deductible insurance and understand that I need to meet that deductible…but the charges to my insurance provider (UHC) seem astronomical for the services i received. I had some chest pain, physician basically said “no big deal” and now big bill

Does this make sense at all? Any guidance on steps to get these charges reduced?

Hi everyone! I'll take any tips and advice on how to get a job as a Project Manager/Product Manager without experience. I have a BBA in Marketing and Management and 8 years of experience in hearing aid sales, where I've gained nothing useful enough to transition to another field (at least I don't think so). Are these certificate courses in Product/Project Management any good? Are there jobs out there where I can get started? So far, the jobs I've seen online require a lot of experience.

Hi! I'm currently trying to move into the IT field and have been getting a few interviews for smaller tech companies, but I'm interested in applying to larger names like Google. Does anyone happen to know what hiring managers or recruiters may be looking for in a cover letter? Do they really read cover letters or are they just scanned through ATS systems?
