Just heard about the horrifying rape case in Buxar.
What should be the punishment for these perpetrators?
Should they be handed over to the public for doing the needful?
Currently in NoVa, looking to move my family somewhere cheaper. What recommendations do you have for affordable towns in Maryland (close-ish to DC) with good safety and school systems?
Currently have the FRM title.
I failed CFA level 3 once.
I'm hoping to eventually do CAIA, but only after I'm done with CFA. I'm also hoping to do non-financial certifications, like Certified analytics professional (CAP), and learn about web development.
While I may have the title of manager, I am still an individual contributor. The type of work I do involves quantitative analysis/data analysis/science.
Any suggestions as to what I should start with?
Was offered a new job recently in a big pharma company:
Role: engineering lead (no direct reports)
Pay: 140K base + 10% annual bonus + yearly stocks
YOE : 5 years with Masters degree
I am confused if this is on higher or lower end salary range for lead roles as they are SMEs. Would appreciate some input.

Has anyone pivoted from medical staff services/credentialing into the tech industry/med tech without a college degree? If so, what steps did you take to get there? I’m considering finding some courses that would allow me to transition careers. 1) I’m burntout of what I am doing right now. 2) I want a career that allows me to continue to be challenged in new ways and the opportunity for higher compensation.
Ex healthcare workers in Tech/Sales Engineering/ Healthcare consulting;
I have my masters in nursing/FNP (1 yr) making <K70 (Indiana) due to low patient census in my role. No desire for a different FNP job nor to return to bedside nursing (RN 5 yrs). I have heard of some individuals with remote positions making >K100 with little to no experience in tech or consulting after doing a boot camp or cert?
If you pivoted; What’s your current role/ Income & what did you do to complete the transition?
