How do you feel about your job today?

I honestly think the “silent majority” this November are going to be people like me that voted for Trump in 2016 but will end up being a big reason he is voted out of office this time around. Biggest reason for me is the absolute lack of leadership and accountability.

My boss’ boss wants to catch up on how things are going; I changed groups 6M ago for a more fast-paced environment but have only partially gotten the transaction/networking exp I wanted - any advice?

I have ~4 years of experience as a commercial account manager working for a large bank in my home country before migrating to Canada. I am currently working as a credit analyst (commercial clients, upto $30mn in lending size) in a mid size Bank in Toronto.
I want to eventually work as a commercial/corporate account manager and hopefully grow in that role.

Due to the current recession, facing a lot of problems in job hunting and placements.

I also have basic python skills, SQL in intermediary level, and I have studied about ITGC audits from a peer of mine. I know the basics regarding IT Audits like Program Changes, APD, Computer Changes, etc.

I have interned at Tata medical centre and have written 3 research paper, one of them is in AI.

Yesterday and today have been complete washes due to first, all over body pain and today, added brain fog and extreme fatigue. I can’t think, can barely lift a pinky. In another bowl, it was stated that conservatives don’t believe in science, facts, or reality. It still surprises me how misrepresented we are (even though I have seen the media clips that brainwash their viewers). How can we set them straight when they have already been programmed to tune us out?

When they lay people off, they often keep things quiet because it will "effect morale". But the firing itself is what effects morale. Being secretive about it undermines respect and harms morale more.

Uber just unionized. If they can, why can’t we?!

Saying someone was let go because they didn’t fit into the company’s culture is a big red flag. It means your culture is not very accepting and that is a dangerous thing.

Humane hours would be nice. Also some parameters for weekend work. It either doesn’t happen or we are paid handsomely for it?

Imagine being the first agency to unionize. Imagine the press. For an industry that is so fueled by media attention, it would be a company's dream... wouldn't it?
