Prepping for a CRO interview with the CEO of a smaller tech company (approx 70 employees) experiencing explosive growth. They want someone to run sales, alliances, & marketing, with heavy influence around product development so not really a traditional CRO role. I interviewed with Goldman Sachs for 3 different divisions for Internal Audit Associate role. After successful interviews, they asked me about which division do I want to work with. I gave them the order of the roles I am interested in. Next step was basic talks with Recruiter and Immigration team. They gave me to fill recruiter form (focussed on Salary expectations) - TC in NYC on LinkedIn is 85k to 140k. I gave 150k as I wasn't unaware about the range before.
Issue - not heard back from them

At our company we have to apply for job reqs, same as external candidates. I’ve been at my company for 5 years and am thinking of applying to the manager opening on my team and also a lateral position on a brand new team with a lot of visibility. Im having trouble choosing if I had to pick one. If I apply to both I feel like if one hiring manager knew I was also interviewing for the other position there could be potential bias against me. Is this a possibility? or am I being paranoid.
