It’s definitely unusual, but maybe they’re just being flexible. If it works for you, it might show you’re serious. Have you asked if weekdays were even an option? Interviewing on weekends can be a sign of disorganized ops, or urgency as well. Not always a bad thing, but worth noting.
Yeah I find that odd. Especially in this industry. I have never heard of a Saturday interview unless it was for something that is open on the weekends like retail. But typical office hours are M-F. If the job is interesting to you and you're seriously considering it you should take it but see if you can get further clarification as to why saturday. It could be a sign that they work on weekends.
That seems unusual, but I remember one instance when it happened. A former colleague had a Saturday interview, think the explanation was that the company had been acquired and had to make some changes and hire people quickly. If the reason they gave you seems to make sense you might as well do the interview. It could just mean they're not wasting any time, which is usually a good thing.
Not too common, but I’ve seen it happen when hiring managers are swamped during the week or trying to move fast. I wouldn’t read too much into it unless they also expect you to work Saturdays.
