I saw that post too, and it really made me think. Breaking into Investment Banking from a hospitality background, and that too, without a CFA or MBA, is not the typical route but it isn't impossible now. One of my seniors shared that he trained with Amquest Education's Investment Banking program, which played a big role in his transition. The course focused heavily on real-world case studies, financial modelling and mock deal presentations, basically simulating the day-to-day analyst role. He said it helped him develop the right skills and the language to speak confidently in interviews and networking calls. This kind of hands-on, practical prep is opening doors for people from non-finance backgrounds. It is no longer just about your degree. It is about what you can do and how well you can do it.
