What type of insurance job are you looking for?
You should work with a BGA directly and start incorporating insurance into your business practice. My firm will gladly partner with you
What is it about insurance that draws you to the industry? Plenty of finance roles in insurance, if you are looking to pivot look at these jobs. Having worked in insurance for 30 years, I can’t imagine anyone wanted to pivot to this industry. Everyone I have ever worked with fell into it. Gone are the days of guaranteed stability, pensions and high pay. The industry has changed a lot over the years. It’s not “government light” anymore. Just know what you are getting into if you make the move.
I agree with the comment above. I would definitely look into life insurance. There is also alot of money to be made in the industry.

If you are set on starting at the bottom, start applying for those jobs on your own. You do not need a recruiter for entry-level roles. Just make sure your resume is aligned with the job and not a finance-exclusive resume.
