Any hot leads on Workers Compensation roles?
USI Insurance brokerage and consulting - thoughts? A recruiter reached out to me via linked in and I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on this company. They seem to have decent reviews on Glassdoor but I was hoping to get more insight into workload and comp. Thanks in advance! USI

I'm too stressed by life to care too much right now. If it is, so be it. Bring it on, AI. Take on all the joys that come with working for my micromanaging boss every day. I do not care.
I am a licensed agent and I would not want the responsibility of your role, I feel for you, I worked for a collector car company and they wanted me to do UW job without the pay. I am no longer there. Micromanaging should have been in the job description.
I highly doubt we’ll see such advancement next year. The resources for widespread implementation are still too much for most companies.
I totally agree. We’re a decade+ from being completely replaced with AI in insurance in my opinion.
Obvioualy AI will shift things and we will need to adapt. Something fascinating that I read was about when humans were alive at the time of neanderthals, they were stronger and more numerous etc. the think that they lacked however was creativity and imagination so ultimately we could strategize and think and problem solve etc. AI isn’t creative, it can’t pick up nuance, and doesn’t have imagination. It’s also full of errors, i have to always fact check ad correct.
Rising Star
Right. It's just regurgitating what it "knows" and draws inferences but nothing truly new.
No. 2026 is going to be a good year. But it might be the last we get, so enjoy it.
I agree with you on this. I think this is going to be a really great year. I am looking forward to all that this year has to offer.
AI seems to already be replacing grunt work, entry level jobs at State Farm. They’ve been replacing entry level CSR positions in the following fashion: 50% of the work is fully AI, and the customer communication (In-Person or Phone) have been given to other roles without additional pay. Adjusters are now also CSRs with the amount of call handling we’re doing. Oh and settle the claim same day by the way lol…Just write the estimate in your car, and settle it onsite lol…
