Am I allowed to say no to extra work from a senior dev? I'm feeling stuck because this person keeps assigning me extra work as "learning opportunities," but it's derailing me from my main sprint tasks. I want to grow, but I also think I need to finish the work I'm accountable for. What's the right way to handle this?

I was hoping for an offer closer to 90k base and I don’t care too much for a sign on bonus. However, this is a lot more than what I’m making now, and would be my first SWE job. Should I counter?
